During 1970 Thomas E. Garrett founded Garrett & Associates as an appraisal company in Huntsville, Al. The Garrett & Associates team quickly grew, as did the services we provide, and we are now a full service commercial real estate firm servicing clients throughout the southeastern United States. Our services range from valuing commercial real estate to advising clients navigating the complex rules of a 1031 tax deferred exchange. The key to Garrett & Associates' success lies with our people and the expertise that we bring to our clients. Our employees have a combined total of over 80 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry and have established a reputation of integrity, honesty and expertise that our clients have come to depend on and value.

Not only do our people have considerable experience in commercial real estate, they have also demonstrated leadership in the industry. Mr. Garrett was the president of the Alabama Chapter of the Appraisal Institute, spent nine years on the Board of Directors, four years as the Regional Chair and two as the Vice Chair for Region IX. The team at Garrett & Associates places great importance on staying current with changing trends, keeping up to date on continuing education and obtaining the highest professional designations in our field. Our team consists of MAIs, licensed sales people, licensed brokers and a CPA.
